Texas Two Step: Former Cox KCYY/San Antonio morning hosts Tucker "Frito" Young and Katy Dempsey, who departed yesterday (CAT 1/6), will join Audacy KILT/Houston in the same capacity Jan. 10. They succeed The Morning Bullpen's George Lindsey, Monica "Mo" Lunsford and Erik Scott Smith, who exited last month (CAT 12/19/24). "The duo’s passion for relentlessly serving the local community as well as their focus on local content on-air is perfect for Houston,” says SVP/MM Sarah Frazier. Young and Dempsey spent three years at KCYY, following nearly 10 at Top 40 KNDE/Bryan, TX. They were named CMA Major Market Personality last year.
