Carter Adds WQIK/Jacksonville PD Duties
CC: “To take the reins at the legendary WQIK is beyond a dream come true," says newly announced PD Casey Carter, who has added Jacksonville programming duties for the iHeartMedia station to her ongoing PD role at sister WNOE/New Orleans. She succeeds Scot "Froggy" Langley, who remains with the company's Elvis Duran Morning Show and WQIK's The Big Show. Additionally, sister WAVW/Ft. Pierce PD Heath West is taking over WQIK afternoons from Langley. West says, “As a Florida native, the WQIK call letters are legendary and I am honored to take on the afternoon show on one of iHeart’s premiere country brands."
Carter was named WNOE PD in 2019 (CAT 12/2/19) following time at WTQR/Greensboro, NC; WKKT/Charlotte; WOBB/Albany, GA; WSTH/Columbus, GA; WHOK/Columbus, OH; WQIK/Jacksonville and WZZK/Birmingham.
