Leap Froggy: Connoisseur Media is purchasing NRG Media's Lincoln, NE cluster, including Country KFGE. Connoisseur already owns crosstown Country KZKX. In the Fall 2025 Nielsen ratings, KFGE had a 7.1 share 12+ and was No. 2 overall, while KZKX was No. 3 with a 6.6 share (CAT 1/23). The transaction is expected to close this summer. “The Lincoln stations have been a very important part of our story, and we are pleased to pass them to [Connoisseur CEO] Jeff [Warshaw] and his team,” says NRG CEO Mary Quass, whose company continues to own more than 30 other radio stations across Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska and Wisconsin.
