Chronicle: WXTU's Mark Vizza
Chronicle: Mark Vizza, who parlayed an internship at Beasley's WXTU/Philadelphia into a more than 25-year radio career (almost 18 of those spent with Beasley), died April 1 at the age of 59. He added OM duties to his Dir./Marketing role at WXTU and Rhythmic sister WRDW in 2009 (CAT 7/22/09). After Beasley, he was Dir./Marketing & Events for Greater Media in Philadelphia, then Dir./Marketing for Forever Media in Wilmington, DE. Visitation is scheduled for tomorrow (4/9) from 9-11:30am, followed by a funeral Mass at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church in North Wales, PA.
