Townsquare's Brophey Retiring
Ginny-Rogers-Brophey25.jpg Townsquare WOKQ/Portsmouth, NH Brand Mgr. and 2025 Country Radio Hall of Fame inductee Ginny Rogers Brophey will retire in August, capping a four-decade long career in New England. "This was 100% my decision, and it feels like the right time to pass the mic," says Brophey. "My family is growing, and they need more of me. And with the incredible honor of being inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame on July 21, the timing couldn’t be more meaningful." Brophey made her name as APD/MD of WKLB/Boston and its predecessor WBCS for a total of 24 years, followed by another two years programming crosstown WBWL. She was named Brand Mgr./on-air personality/Content Creator for WOKQ in 2022 (CAT 2/17/22). Reach her here.
