Life Note: Grand Ole Opry star Jeannie Seely is recuperating from multiple back surgeries in March, as well as two emergency abdominal surgeries in April, followed by 11 days in intensive care and a bout of pneumonia. In an update to fans, she says, "Rehab is pretty tough but each day is looking brighter." Once recovered, Seely plans to continue performing regularly on the Opry and resume her weekly show, Sundays with Seely, on SiriusXM’s Willie’s Roadhouse channel.
