Chronicle: Radio vet Tom Hoyt passed away yesterday following a fall in his Montgomery, TX home. He was 86. Among his many radio stops were WMAQ and WLUP in Chicago, as well as Country KFRG/Riverside, where he served as VP/GM. He is also remembered for the infamous "Disco Demolition" promotion at Chicago's Comiskey Park in 1979. Full obit here.
