Former Alpha Media EVP/Content Phil Becker joins Cox Media Group in the newly-created role of VP/Audience & Content Growth, effective July 20. "Phil brings a strong and unique combination of audience expertise, content leadership and a passion for developing talent,” says CMG Radio Pres. Becker departed Alpha after more than a decade last year following its merger with Connoisseur (CAT 9/3/25), and had been in the EVP role, which spanned 42 markets, since 2019. His previous experience includes time as Oasis Radio Group/Fort Wayne, IN co-owner/GM as well as programming stints in Top 40 and Top 40/Rhythmic.
