Reve-News: Universal Music Group (UMG) reported revenue of €2.932 billion (approximately $3.19b) for Q2 2024, a 9.6% year-to-year increase in constant currency. EBITDA for the quarter grew to €649 million ($705m), up 11.3% in constant currency. Recorded music revenue was €2.2b ($2.39b), up 6.8% year-to-year. “Our continued strong revenue growth this quarterdemonstrates that we are, by design, a multifaceted music entertainment company that places our artists at the center of everything we do,” says Chairman/CEO Sir Lucian Grainge.
