Great Scott: Backyard WILQ/Williamsport, PA Dir./Production/midday host Tom Scott will depart the radio buiness July 31 after 43 years. Scott was promoted from fill-ins to full-time Dir./Production for the five-station group in 2022 (CAT 5/10/22), and added middays last year (CAT 10/6/23). His prior stops include Seven Mountains/Pennsylvania and time in Erie, PA; and Binghamton, NY. He tells Country Aircheck, "I’ll spend my time traveling with my wife (the only radio salesperson I ever really liked) and expanding our vintage business, Central PA Vintage Fest." No word on plans for the position.
