Saga Changes: Saga SVP/Content Pat Paxton has resigned from the role after just over three years, sharing on LinkedIn, "It's a hard decision to make, but sometimes you need to know when it's time to say it's time." Paxton joined Saga in 2003 after serving as Audacy Chief Programming Officer, where he worked for 23 years (CAT 6/5/23). Prior roles include Zapoleon Media Strategies and PD of Hot AC KHMX/Houston. Chase tells Country Aircheck this latest move puts him "back in the position I held from 2020 until Pat's arrival in 2023. I have been a Group PD all along, working with Pat. Now I will be overseeing the department with the help of Ryan," with whom he previously worked in Clarksville when Chase was OM and Ploeckelman PD/morning host.
