Feel The Sensation: Forever Media is selling Country WGTY/York, PA, sister Classic Rock WYCR/York and Hot AC WHVR & W237EN/Hanover, PA to York Professional Baseball Club (YPB). In addition to the Atlantic League team York Revolution, YPB has operated York Sports Talk station WOYK & W255DJ since 2014. The sale is expected to close at the end of the year, pending FCC approval. "No immediate changes to branding, format, or the personality of the stations are planned," a statement from YPB says. Darrell Henry will remain GM of WOYK, and Dave Davies will remain GM of the three stations being acquired. YPB Chairman Bill Shipley says, “Keeping these leading stations in local ownership is great for the community.”
