KORA's Garrett Leaves: Brazos Valley KORA/Bryan, TX morning host Roger W. Garrett is departing after a total of more than 22 years with the station over three spans. Silverfish Media's Big D & Bubba will succeed him starting Dec. 11. Morning co-host/APD Tamme Taylor will remain in place as local host for the show. Garrett spent five years with KORA starting in 1986, then re-joined in 2005. His previous stops include Austin and Houston; he was inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame in 2017.
