Chronicle: Eagle/Hutchinson, KS OM and KHUT morning personality Pat James passed away Tuesday (12/17) at his home. James was nominated for an ACM Award in the Small Market Personality category in 2018 and again this year. He joined Eagle in 2017 after stops at KVWF/Wichita, WIL/St. Louis (where he also earned two additional ACM Award nominations), and KFDI/Wichita. He was elevated to OM later that year (CAT 6/8/17). James won CMA Broadcast Awards in 2003 and 2009. "Pat's legacy in Country radio is assured," says Eagle/Hutchinson MM Matt Althouse. "More than that, he was a devoted father and family man, whose presence his listeners will miss every day on their radio, but we will miss just as much in our building.
