Audacy Debuts 'Big Buck Country' In Greenville
Buck The Halls: Audacy flipped Classic Rock WROQ/Greenville, SC to Country as "101.1 Big Buck Country" at 3pm (ET) today (12/19) with Luke Combs' "Back In The Saddle" the first song played on the new format. The station is programmed by OM Mark Hendrix, and currently does not have an airstaff. A press release says it will offer an "edgier presentation of heritage artists with chart-topping stars, more music and fewer interruptions every hour." WROQ will compete in the market with iHeart's WSSL & Classic Country WESC, which drew a 6.4 (2) and 5.7 (4), respectively, in November CDM ratings. Listen to Big Buck Country here.
